I think that's the catch to the objects.  Evil cannot begot Love.  Only a cheap imitation of it like obsession.

Back in an old round robin/rp thing, we used a set of cursed theater masks. (Tragedy and Comedy). They were possessed by a set of twins. The tragedy mask granted its user any one wish for each kill,  including setting the twin attached to it free. The comedy mask allowed the user to kill people with his crazy versions of "the ultimate joke" or something. I kind of forgot exactly what it did.. but it made sense at the time. They were used in combination with a mirror that would allow them to free Lucifer once they had the proper sacrifice. (Which had to be one of the following: The Lion, Ryan. The Slayer, Buffy Summers. Or the Key, Dawn Summers. Possibly the Pretender, Jarod too. I can't remember for sure. In my mind he would have been an option. And yes, it was a crossover with other fandoms.)

We later tried another one which was actually a device to end all creation that combined the use of several of the cursed antiques and other objects of power across the globe. I remember one being a shield that made the user invincible and instantly killed anyone who saw their own reflection in it.

Currently in an rp we have going, we're using cursed tarot cards (major arcana only). Each card tends to do something specific to its meaning. We have a vain and pride filled nun using the Empress card to make all her orphaned children happy and perfect. The Justice card was used by a woman seeking vengeance on men who wronged others. The Strength card gave one man super strength after each kill. The Lovers card caused an infatuated girl to approach her object of desire, which caused him to kill himself without knowing why and her to go insane, but it in turn allowed its true owner to reap the benefits and have success in whatever romantic relationship they're in. We have others floating about, but they haven't been fully planned out yet.

Those are some pretty cool ideas. I like both the theater masks and the various tarot cards doing different things. Very creative!

There are some really creative ideas on this board. Makes me feel like such a dullard!

I was thinking back to when I was a kid, I'd get so envious watching commercials for the latest toy, especially near Christmas. I always wished I could just reach into the TV and grab the toy to keep for myself.  A cursed TV that would allow one to do that would be kind of cool.

I liked how the show would sometimes put these cursed objects into the hands of children, like the playhouse or the evil doll in the Inheritence. When you're a kid, you don't think about the costs or the consequences.

I also always wanted one of those old portable pocket transistor radios, but I wanted mine to able to let me hear what other people were thinking. I guess I was  kind of a creepy little kid.
