A doctor's guilt drives his search for a cure for a disease that makes people behave like rabid animals. The syringe lets him extract liquid "soul" from his victims and inject it into his daughter, who was infected with this disease through his carelessness. Micki's life is endangered when she is selected as the donor for the gland that produces the "soul" and slated for a surgery she cannot survive.
